Those from out of the area who are driving to ABMA should be aware of HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) traffic/driving restrictions on some highways and Interstates in the Washington Metropolitan area. HOV hours are normally 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM in the morning and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM in the evening, Monday through Friday. Plan accordingly, and do not violate HOV requirements – Commonwealth Police do not accept excuses and the fines are significant.

There is free, unreserved parking around ABMA’s building at 8221 Old Courthouse Road in Vienna, VA. Parking is usually more plentiful in the rear of the building.

ABMA is served most closely by the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro stop on the Orange Line. Please consult the Metro link below for further instructions, maps and fare calculators.
Once you disembark at the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro stop, ABMA is reachable by taxi cab. ABMA is not in walking distance from the Metro stop. If taxis are not readily available a the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro stop, ABMA Members should feel free to telephone ABMA, and ABMA staff will pick you up and transport you to the ABMA office by automobile.

Take Exit I-395 South to Richmond. Carefully watch signs for Route 110 to Rosslyn – take that exit. Route 110 will take you past the Pentagon and to Interstate 66.
Take I-66 Exit West to the Washington/Dulles International Airport Exit. Then take the Toll Road (Route 267) to Exit 16 - Leesburg Pike -- immediately after the Main Toll Booths. Turn left at the light at the end of the Exit and proceed East on Route 7 to Gallows Road. Turn right onto Gallows Road (at the Olive Garden Restaurant). Bear right onto Old Courthouse Road at the second light, and proceed on Old Courthouse Road. Turn left onto Lord Fairfax – the 8221 Old Courthouse Road Parking Lot entrance is in the rear. If you see an elementary school, you have gone too far.

Take the Dulles Toll Road from the Airport, East toward Washington. At the Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) Exit, take Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) East toward Tysons Corner. Proceed along Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) until you reach Gallows Road (at the Olive Garden Restaurant) and turn left onto Gallows Road. Proceed on Gallows Road, but bear right onto Old Courthouse Road at the second light. Then proceed on Old Courthouse Road, turn left onto Lord Fairfax -- the 8221 Old Courthouse Road Parking Lot entrance is in the rear. If you see an elementary school, you have gone too far.

Take Interstate 95 South to Interstate 495 West (Capital Beltway) to Silver Spring. Then follow I-495 to Northern Virginia and take Exit 47A for Route 7 West to Tysons Corner. Continue on Route 7 to Gallows Road. Turn left onto Gallows Road (at the Olive Garden Restaurant). Proceed on Gallows Road, but bear right onto Old Courthouse Road at the second light. Then proceed on Old Courthouse Road, turn left onto Lord Fairfax -- the 8221 Old Courthouse Road Parking Lot entrance is in the rear. If you see an elementary school, you have gone too far.
