The membership of the ABMA Industrial Systems Group is composed of Active and Associate Member manufacturers (designers or fabricators) of equipment  and components that contribute to the steam, hot water, thermal liquid, wasteheat and/or other types of boiler systems, including, but not limited to:  watertube and firetube boilers, burners, stokers, pulverizers, superheaters, heat exchangers, economizers, preheaters, wasteheat recovery equipment, controls & instrumentation systems, pumps, deaerators and valves.

The ABMA Industrial Systems Group represents two specific market segments:

Light Industrial

• Btu Input Capacities: 20.0 to 100.0 MMBH
• Applications:  central plant high temperature hot water and high pressure steam heating boilers, low pressure steam boilers and high pressure steam boilers (saturated steam and superheated) for process applications and capture of wasteheat.
• Types: watertube, firetube, coil.
• Efficiency Range (Input/Output):
  • Standard Efficiency - 80%-85%
  • Mid-Efficiency - 85% to 88%
• Fuels:  Natural Gas, Propane, Fuel Oil, Alternative fuels, biomass & coal

Heavy Industrial

• Btu Input Capacities: > 100.0 MMBH
• Applications:  central plant high pressure steam boilers & high pressure steam boilers (saturated steam and superheated) for process applications and capture of wasteheat.
• Types: watertube & firetube
• Efficiency Range (Input/Output):
  • Standard Efficiency - 80%-85%
  • Mid-Efficiency - 85% to 88%
• Fuels:  Natural Gas, Propane, Fuel Oil, Alternative Fuels, biomass, & coal.
