The 2017 Manufacturers Conference is a unique event for the boiler industry. Known for leading edge content and facility tours, this conference brings together a diversified representation from the industry.

This year's conference will focus on understanding end-use markets, potential impact on new technologies, workforce challenges and the possible shifting of energy and environmental regulations. Conference sessions will vary from industry trends for senior executives and leadership development opportunities for the next generation. In addition, ABMA is adding a Trade Fair to more targeted and direct opportunities to bring together manufacturers and suppliers along with a day that will include students, instructors/professors and officials from local educational Institutions to share career opportunities in our industry. 

TIME CHANGE - Please note the tour of the Texas Medical Center Power Plant will now depart from the hotel at 12:30 p.m. We encourage participants to each an early lunch prior to departure.  The bus will return by 2:30 p.m.

Opportunities to Exhibit
The 2017 Manufacturers' Conference will include a Trade Fair. Exhibitors of this meeting gain access to a powerful microcosm of boiler industry suppliers, manufacturers, owners and operators, vendors, and the next generation of professionals coming into the industry. As an exhibitor, you will have direct access to these top professionals and ABMA will help facilitate introductions for you throughout the event.

Trade Fair Hours
Monday from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Setup - Monday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Breakdown - Wednesday after 2:00 p.m.

All meal functions, including breaks, will be in the Trade Fair exhibit hall for maximum exposure. The Trade Fair also will be open during conference sessions. Exhibitors are permitted a tabletop exhibit and your fee includes a 6-foot draped table, power access, signage, and one FREE exhibit only registration. Space is limited and on a first-come, first serve basis. The deadline to secure exhibit space is February 28.

In addition, local students in college engineering and community college welding programs will attend the conference on first full day. Exhibiting gives your company fantastic opportunity to engage with students, sharing the benefits of boiler industry careers and discuss future employment opportunities.

Please note the exhibit only registration includes exhibit space and one complimentary exhibitor attendee. A full conference registration is required to attend the sessions. Each company only needs one exhibitor registration.

Conference Hotel - Hyatt Regency Houston-Galleria
The 2017 ABMA Manufacturers’ Conference takes place at the Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria. ABMA has contracted a special rate of $185 per night at the Hyatt for conference participants. Please make your reservations by the March 15 deadline.
